Heavy Gear Extended Content
Hello Everyone Welcome to the new Dream Pod 9 Community blog! We’ve just launched and wanted to share a bit about what you can expect to find here. We plan to do a couple posts a week about Heavy Gear and other DP9 games.
In case you don’t know me, my name is Nick and I am the Line Developer for the Heavy Gear RPG. You can find me online on the forums and discord under the handle “prof9844”. Today I want to introduce a new concept in the world of Heavy Gear called Extended Content.
What is Extended Content?
Extended Content is content in testing for various DP9 products. These are not as heavily tested and are not intended for use in tournaments. You should seek your opponents permission before using them.
What about miniatures for this new content?
Extended Content will not release alongside new miniature.
New mechanics?
Yes, Extended allows us to test things which may include new mechanics as well as units.
Will things move from Extended into their respective games?
Some may although it is not a forgone conclusion. These are test rules which may not make it into the full games.
